Metis Group Welcomes Thomas Torrillo as New Partner

Metis Group LLC recently welcomed it newest partner, Thomas Torrillo, who joined the firm as its Audit Partner & Director of Retail and Consumer Products.

The accounting and consulting firm has clients throughout the New York City tri-state area, providing personal services to its clients across the eastern seaboard and overseas, and has a staff of 19 partners and principals and 67 team members.

Working out of Metis’ New York City office, Torrillo’s responsibilities include development of Metis’ retail and consumer products group and continuing client service and advisory. Torrillo brings along years of experience assisting his clients and valued added advice and strategies for growth.

“I am excited to be working with a growing middle market-sized CPA firm,” Torrillo said. “ I look forward to the opportunity and challenges of developing and building a retail & consumer products practice while working together with all the other partners here.”

Prior to joining Metis, Torrillo was a partner at CohnReznick and served as the New York Office Leader of the Retail and Consumer Products Group. His broad range of experience includes serving both privately held and publically traded companies in industries that include administrative and professional services, manufacturing and distribution, as well as retail and consumer products.

Torrillo is a member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Fashion and Furnishings Committee and the National Retail Federation (NRF).
